
Philip Frenzel

Philip Frenzel is a freshwater ecologist with 6 years of experience in the field of freshwater ecology. His experience ranges across numerous fields and includes specialist input into biomonitoring, impact assessments, rehabilitation planning, management and maintenance plans, ecological and water quality monitoring, water use authorisations and research.
Philip completed his MSc at Stellenbosch University which focused on evaluating the efficacy of nature-based solutions to improve water quality and enhance biodiversity provision. His experience includes the assessment and evaluation of aquatic ecosystems in terms of extent (through delineations) and assessment of ecological health and functional value. Philip has also presented his work on local, national and international platforms.
